Delicious Parathas with leftover cooked lentil ( masoor dal ). Every time I cook daal ,I always have some leftover ( my family is non-veg lover ๐) and I am among those who just canโt waste food. Itโs a big No No for me. So I give my leftover daal a makeover at the breakfast table and thatโs irresistible, drool worthy, all time fav. Parathas. ๐๐๐
Here is my recipe of these delicious parathas.
Ingredients:
Leftover daal: I had around 1 cup if you have more or less adjust the quantity of wheat flour accordingly.
Multigrain wheat flour: 1 1/2 cup
Onion: 1/2 of medium size ( finely chopped)

Green chili: 3 ( finely chopped)
Coriander leaves: handful of chopped leaves
Mint leaves: handful of chopped leaves

Oil for cooking parathas
Method:
- Mix all the ingredients together and knead into a dough to make Parathas. ( donโt add water while kneading ), taste and adjust the salt and chili acc. to your preference.
- Take a small ball size portion and roll it with the help of rolling pin to make a chapati.
3. Heat a pan ( tawa) on medium flame and cook Parathas over it basting with ghee or your preferred cooking oil until it is cooked from both sides.
4. Serve with pickle/curd/ketchup/butter, it just tastes amazing in any way.
Notes: Add a medium size boiled potato (grated) if you are not in hurry, it gives an extra crunch and flavour. ๐๐๐๐
